Abigail Hyslop of Burscough read our story last week on US TV crews interviewing Southport author Pat Regan on the strange object he spotted on a photo of a funnel cloud.Abigail had taken photos of the same weather phenomenon in July and captured an object she believes is a helicopter....Nick Pope, ex-MOD expert, has also examined the new photo. "It's an intriguing image and a genuine mystery. I'm not sure it's a helicopter. The MoD has the equipment and expertise to analyse and enhance such images, but they wouldn't share their conclusions with the public or the media," he said.

Like wildfires in the Australian outback, rumors of an upcoming mass televised UFO sighting over American skies are taking the Internet by storm. Blossom Goodchild, an Aussie actress and author, has the international Ufology community on its ear with channeled information concerning the eminent appearance of a massive extraterrestrial spacecraft for October 14th, 2008. Calling themselves ‘The Federation of Light’, these Beings from another world have stated to Goodchild that they intend not only to make themselves known, but also to remain more or less in place for a full 72 hour period, thereby providing the media with ample opportunity to once and for all capture on film evidence that will silence the skeptics and debunkers forever. The predicted rendezvous point? Alabama....

"Unknown objects are operating under intelligent control... It is imperative that we learn where UFO's come from and what their purpose is..." Admiral Roscoe H. There are many theories concerning the nature of UFOs and they are heatedly debated. Even the usage of the term "UFO" is debated by some.
Maybe they were looking to make their weekly shop or perhaps they just ran out of milk?Whatever their reason, the extra terrestrial presence above Purley Cross Tesco prompted a call by UFO experts for a public inquiry.Sid O'Driscoll spotted the supposed spacecraft on August 28 at 2am.He said: "It was very weird. It was the most beautiful green and white light, moving quite fast, then stopping."It had to be mechanical, like a spaceship, because it slowed down and stopped."It wasn't making any noise. It disappeared in a flash."I went home and told my girlfriend. She didn't believe me, but the pictures speak for themselves."...
Frank Scully's "Behind the Flying Saucers" was originally published in 1950 and became an instant bestseller. It was the first nonfiction hardback book published on the then quite new subject of crashed UFOs and holds up very well today after the passage of nearly 60 years."Behind The Flying Saucers," which has recently been reprinted by Timothy Green Beckley at Global Communications, tells the complicated story of the crash of a flying saucer in Aztec, New Mexico, in March of 1948. The ship itself was largely undamaged, but the dead bodies of 14 to 16 small aliens were reported to have been found alongside the spacecraft. The aliens were described as being like "little men," similar to the grays of our own time, which was unusual in an age when contactees would soon after be regaling the media with visits by blonde, human-looking Venusians....
STEPHENVILLE (CBS 11 News) ― Dozens of Stephenville residents reported seeing UFOs in the area in January. At first, the military reported there were no aircraft in the area that night. Two weeks later, officials said they were conducting training exercises in the area. Now some city officials want to know if a government exercise was being performed, why they weren't notified ahead of time. "I want to know why public officials weren't notified of a large military operation in our area," said Stephenville City Councilmember Mark Murphy. He has filed a complaint with U. S. Air Force and the Federal Aviation Administration, demanding answers....
Followers of the "X-Files" are familiar with the saying, "The truth is out there."Well, some are saying it was out there the night of Thursday, Aug. 28, over East Rutherford. A video of an unidentified flying object spotted by East Rutherford resident Sebastian Steinberg and posted on YouTube by Radio Irish, a local radio station run by Rutherford resident Sean McCarthy, has some believing there was a UFO in our midst for a brief period last week.McCarthy said Steinberg submitted, via e-mail, only the video, which he said was filmed in East Rutherford, and his e-mail address, but no further information. McCarthy's attempts to contact Steinberg haven't yet been returned.... These shots of a supposed UFO over the meadowlands on the night of Aug. 28 are taken from a video posted on youtube by Radio Irish, which received them from a Sebastian Steinberg of East Rutherford. Experts point to the red and blue lights on the side and the blinking light on top as all signs that whatever it is and wherever it’s from, it’s in conformance with FAA aircraft lighting regulations.
The man pushing a ballot initiative for creation of a commission to study visitors from outer space wants to put his plan before voters in May, which potentially could cost the city as much as $600,000 to hold the election. Jeff Peckman, the UFO buff, met with city officials today to discuss his revamped plan to create the world's first Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission and revealed that he's now shooting for the spring election date. No other ballot issues have surfaced so far, and there are no other municipal elections, Assistant City Attorney David Broadwell told Peckman during the meeting. That means holding a special election to deal with Peckman's pet project could cost the city anywhere between $500,000 to $600,000,...
Speculations on how an alien remote sensing probe might work and why such a probe, based on a charged particle beam, might be mistaken for an actual physical spacecraft. The clearest and most succinct summary of reported UFO characteristics I have yet to find was written by the late Dr. J. Allen Hynek in a foreword to the book The UFO Controversy in America....
DID aliens land in Churchtown’s very own Area 51 on Sunday night?Residents flooded the emergency services with reports of a bright object falling out of the sky, but, in true cover-up style, search and rescue teams failed to find a thing.A police helicopter search over the Wyke Cop area of the Moss at around 9.20pm also proved fruitless as did a daylight search on Monday. The object, described as a ball of fire shooting across the sky, was also thought to be a burning light aircraft, though air traffic control operators have no reports of any airborne activity at that time....
Dozens of astronauts and cosmonauts will touch down in Seattle this month. They should feel right at home. We're home to the Science Fiction Museum, the Museum of Flight and Boeing, after all - as well as the first reported UFO sighting, when Kenneth Arnold spotted nine flying saucers back 1947.The Association of Space Explorers Congress, a non-profit organization of more than 300 space travelers, will hold sessions downtown and at the Museum of Flight Sept. 15-19.This is only the third time the 21-year-old convention has been held in the United States.A limited number of seats are available to the public for sessions featuring Apollo astronaut Bill Anders, Mercury astronaut Scott Carpenter and Valentina Tereshkova - the first woman in space. The latest attempt to breach the stupefying Air Force info-lockout surrounding the Stephenville UFO comes from Texan Mark Murphy. It probably won’t make any difference — bureaucracies from the Department of Homeland Security on down are treating Freedom of Information Act queries about this rip in the defense fabric like one-ply toilet paper. Still, it’s always instructive to see an elected official get stiffed by the government.Murphy is a city councilman in Stephenville, which was buzzed by an enormous UFO on the evening Jan. 8. What made it more interesting were the F-16 jet fighters that apparently shadowed the intruder, which was flying without a transponder....

Wing Commander Alan Turner, 64, said colleagues sat stunned when 35 super-fast vessels appeared on their screens. Extraordinary ... map shows the UFOs' path acrosssouthern EnglandWing Cmdr Turner, who was a chief operator of the RAF’s radar system for 29 years, said the craft were equally spaced and shot from 3,000ft to 60,000ft at almost 300mph. Incredibly, every few seconds one of the UFOs would suddenly vanish from radar and be replaced by an identical vessel moments later. Wing Cmdr Turner said six military radars, plus operators at Heathrow, spotted the UFOs east of Salisbury Plain and filed reports on the unexplained phenomenon in 1971....
London, September 13 (ANI): A sexagenarian RAF expert claims that the Ministry of Defence in Britain asked him to keep quiet after he tracked a whole fleet of spaceships on military radar in 1971.Sixty Wing Commander Alan Turner, 64, who was a chief operator of the RAFs radar system for 29 years, said that all his colleagues were surprised to see 35 super-fast vessels appear on their screens. He said that the craft were equally spaced and shot from 3,000ft to 60,000ft at almost 300mph.He revealed that every UFO would suddenly vanish from radar after a few seconds, and be replaced by an identical vessel moments later.According to him, six military radars and operators at Heathrow spotted the UFOs east of Salisbury Plain, and filed reports on the unexplained phenomenon in 1971....
..."UFOs: Seeing is Believing" takes a serious look at the phenomenon in today's world. The 90-minute special includes interviews with scientists searching for proof of life beyond earth and UFO witnesses who claim aliens are already here. Building on the original Peter Jennings report in 2005, David Muir reports on new sightings, as well as NASA's current search for life on Mars. "UFOs: Seeing is Believing," to be broadcast in HDTV, airs on a special edition of "Primetime" Tuesday, September 16 from 9:30 - 11:00 p.m. ET....
English Channel - (X-Files Mess): An unidentified flying object was seen hurtling into the Channel Tunnel rail track chasing an unmarked goods train minutes before a mysterious fire erupted seven miles from the Calais terminus.Locals claimed the freight carrier 'was full of illegal asylum seekers' from the notorious Sangatte detention center. Some eyewitnesses said the UFO is one of an EU fleet designed to reinforce border patrols."Just part of the latest scareforce tactics to keep out pesky welfare tourists," local bigot Mrs Minne McNuts told reporters.Firefighters fought a ten hour battle to put out the blaze and have cordoned off Tunnel exits pending a specialist Ministry of Defence UFO cover-up team's arrival.Eurotunnel Corp sources are saying nothing.
A UFO enthusiast has put together an 8-minute video featuring about a zillion UFO photographs culled from approximately the last century and a half. You'll see familiar favorites — like this saucer-shaped one — and bizarro images of floaty blobs and streaking lights. The video is set to music, most of which is pretty good, and that makes watching it even more trippy. Check it out.I feel like this is one of those videos that's perfect for the late afternoon, say around 4:20, but I'm posting it now so you can get a head start on your afternoon during the next 8 UFO-packed minutes.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uScExDsEbTI&eurl=http://io9.com/5048856/a-collection-of-ufo-photographs-from-1870-to-2008
Stephenville, Texas attracted worldwide attention earlier this year (Jan, 08) after residents sighted an unidentified flying object (UFO) that some say was a mile long. By news accounts, there were more than 30 residents to specifically report the sighting. It was front-page headlines in a large number of news forums. Many of the witnesses were interviewed on national television programs such as CNN´s Larry King Live. All of the witnesses were credible and none were shown to be perpetrating a hoax. They might have been mistaken, but that seems unlikely since so many people saw the same object. Also, other evidence is available to corroborate their story. There was obviously something flying over Stephenville that might be a national security threat. Why will our government not take this incident seriously? Steve Allen, a 50-year-old pilot, said that the object was "a mile long and half a mile wide" and that "I don't know if it was a biblical experience or somebody from a different universe or whatever but it was definitely not from around these parts." There is no disputing that Mr. Allen is a credible witness who saw a strange craft and then reported it to authorities. The U.S. Air Force was made aware of the sighting, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) knows about it and even Homeland Security was contacted. However, no official Federal Government Agency has looked into the matter or conducted an official investigation, why not?...
Learning about this world, galaxy, and universe is only part of the truth. Learning that we are more than our mental, physical, and spiritual bodies is important. We are just beginning to raise the consciousness of the whole world in a global community. There will be many beings who will pass from earth never realizing the next level of the game of life. This is unfortunate but we have a world called reincarnation that may offer their loved ones solace. There are people on earth who can contact these beings that are still able to remain in contact by sound waves of the Akashic Field. Some beings choose to stay on earth because they believe in the old programs which were taught on earth. There are myths and religions on earth. There are other dimensions and although we cannot go back in this time on earth, there are other places in our minds which are real and exist....
The truth is knowing one is an intelligent being and that alien civilizations exist...We are all energy and matter. When it boils down to the truth and the bottom line of all life and matter on earth, we are all part of the stuff that things are made of. We are simply stardust. We are all H2O, Hydrogen, Carbon, and other base matter that comes from space. But then where does space come from? This is what the new big deal or Big Bang Machine is all about. The Big Bang Machine is about learning about the beginning which was here before all particles of the atom. The glue that holds all particles together on earth and in space. The photo is of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) which will search for the God Particle which is thought to be the glue of all the universe. Scientists are searching for the smallest particle which holds all the particles of an atom together. We as individual beings are senders and receivers of energy. We are responsible for our own energy. We all are part of one whole universe of multi-universes or meta-universe. There are other dimensions that cannot be explained in present earth terms. There are no physics to match the titles of energy. One can get there from here but one must raise energy....
...Today, at a distance of 40 years and with 31 books to his credit, Von Daniken still believes strongly that extra terrestrials were responsible for many of the mysteries of the world, providing early peoples with advanced technologies which we are still today trying to explain away with scant success.“I try to prove that extra terrestrial beings were here on earth once. In turn I believe that ancient peoples looked up to these beings as being superior to mankind; gods which descended from the skies. When they departed back to their planets, people on earth kept hoping that they would return. Their stories were handed down to future generations who developed them. Needless to say, even Pizarro was considered a god by the people of Peru! It all boils down to mankind’s confusion of god and extra terrestrial beings.” Von Daniken insists that the expectation of these gods’ return fuelled man’s imagination and even today many religions, including Christianity, believe in this idea that a god will one day return to earth to redeem his followers. Or was it an extra terrestrial?...
The failure of Wednesday's start-up of the biggest-ever atom smasher in Switzerland to destroy the world per some people's predictions reminds us that doomsday prophecies have always been with us; and they've always been wrong. The Daily Telegraph offers a sampler of 10 fizzled doomsdays, including the one supposedly heralded by the appearance of the Hale-Bopp Comet in 1997. Thirty-eight members of a California cult known as Heaven's Gate committed suicide in preparation for a UFO rapture that never came. A much, much longer list of Apocalypse Nots dating back to utterances of Jesus Christ Himself can be found, where else, at Armageddon Online. And PBS offers a scholarly examination of the history of Apocalypticism in western culture (it seems you can't have one without the other). Looking ahead, the world will absolutely, without question, no doubt about it, quite definitely come to an end for sure on December 21, 2012, and there's a thriving cottage industry to prove it.
...I keed, I keeed, as Triumph the Insult Dog was wont to say. Actually, I found the evening both interesting and at times mildly amusing. I went expecting Ventura's address to be all about 9/11 conspiracy theories, since it was the anniversary of 9/11 and because the event was sponsored by a "troofer" group. But 9/11 took up only a fraction of Ventura's entire speech. Most of it was a rambling, extemporaneous recounting of Ventura's history, and his thoughts on a number of subjects, such as the legalization of marijuana (he's for it), immigration (he digs Mexicans), Al Franken's run for Senate in Minnesota (Ventura thinks he'll lose), and surfing (he wouldn't mind dying that way)....But such conclusions, arrived at by scores of scientists over a span of three years, are a lot less sexy than a conspiracy theory, and a lot more complicated. That's why 9/11 conspiracy theories persist, and probably will indefinitely, right along with the belief in UFO abductions, Bigfoot, leprechauns and organized religion.
“About the time of the End, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the [Biblical] Prophecies and insist upon their literal interpretation in the midst of much clamor and opposition.” Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727)On January 3, 2007 my article, Behold Azazel: the Extraterrestrial, was published in UFO Digest. In that article, I first introduced all of you to the image of Azazel which I had channeled years earlier from the spirit world and is shown again above. I later used that image as the basis for my character of the extraterrestrial, i.e. fallen angel in both of my novels, The Great Harpazo Deception and Invasion: Israel. I explained how I had haphazardly derived the name from the Jewish pseudopigraphal book, The Apocalypse of Abraham. What Satan had meant for evil, God ultimately used for good in helping me to expose this ongoing deception.“You meant evil against me but God meant it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives” (Genesis 50:20).Azazel is now believed to be an extraterrestrial, fallen, demonic angel....
